Okay... what can I say about this? I liked the idea and I liked the plot and to a point I liked the protagonist. The writing was good and I did enjoy the book, but parts of the book I skimmed, primarily down to the main character being exceptionally whiny, annoying and more than a little bit dense.
We have the obligatory tormented love which is nicely resolved by the plot shuffling about to ensure that the main character isn't a home wrecker and the bloke isn't a two timing arse. If I had put money on the bad guys identity at the beginning of the book, I would have made a packet.
I enjoyed it...it resolves quite nicely and the writing is well done, but unfortunately the main character let's it down.
