Can Michael get to heaven before the devil gets him first, and if it means leaving Sarah is he sure he still wants to go?
Michael Andrews had everything - a loving family, a great girlfriend and a promising basketball career. That was before the accident that took his life. Now, he's a ghost, wandering among the living, struggling to understand why he's stuck. All he wants is to move on.
That is until he meets Sarah, an attractive young girl who died just as tragically as he did. The only trouble is falling in love and binding oneself to another soul is forbidden, for it may keep one or both of the souls bound to earth for longer than they should be.
To make matters worse, there's also a danger in going too far with Sarah, because the "joining" of two souls in the afterlife is also strictly forbidden and they don't know what will happen if they do go that far. Each time they touch they can feel the boundaries of their energies slipping perilously into one another.
Things get even more complicated as Michael learns he's being pursued. Demons are after him because he's a marked soul, a soul the devil wants very badly for some unknown reason.
So, maybe falling in love in the afterlife isn't such a good idea.

Guest Post:
âTo me, the best stories are those that forge an emotional connection with the reader. And what forges a better connection than a romance? In writing THE GHOST CHRONICLES, I realized about a quarter of the way through that it was missing something. This was Michaelâs story of being stuck in the afterlife, but it needed more. The story really came together when I had the epiphany of adding Michaelâs romance with another ghost, Sarah. Her character was inspired by the legend of a haunting at The Angel of the Sea, an award-winning bed and breakfast in Cape May, NJ. At the time, I was staying at The Angel and picked up one of the non-fiction books which details how a girl fell to her death on the property in the late 1960âs and how her ghost is believed to still haunt the inn. Immediately I knew I wanted to include Sarahâs character in the book and set most of the story at The Angel of the Sea, as well. This spectacular inn has been featured on several television programs and in magazines throughout the world. Most notably, it was chosen by Oprah Winfrey as one of the âBest Vacations in the Worldâ and included in her television talk show. The Angel of the Sea is one of the most recognized Victorian structures in the United States. What setting could be more romantic than a Victorian bed and breakfast?
The other idea I had to make THE GHOST CHRONICLES romantic was to give the two ghosts physical limitations, reminiscent of those in Twilight. To me, what was sexy about that first book, without being overtly sexual, was the notion that Edward wanted to get close to Bella but couldnât because he might be tempted to bite her. So the problem in Twilight became how close is too closeâ¦how far can we get but how far is too farâ¦I want more, I canât have itâ¦I want to touch her but I shouldnâtâ¦I want to go further but I canâtâ¦get the idea? Letâs face it, what does that sound like, but the dilemma of every teen in every basement, backseat and make out point on any given Saturday night anywhere in the world, LOL. So I tried to mimic this same titillating feeling in my book, THE GHOST CHRONICLES. While they do feel corporeal to one another, every time the ghosts touch they can feel the boundaries of their energies slipping perilously into one another. So they donât know what will happen if they go too far and the questions become the same â how close is too closeâ¦how far can we go but how far is too farâ¦I want more, I canât have itâ¦I want to touch her but I shouldnâtâ¦I want to go further but I canâtâ¦
So, are you sweating yet?
