I have begun to think of her books as my Kory Krack.

Interview
1. Where do you get your ideas?
While there are many clever things one can say about the acquisition of ideas, I think Neil Gaiman (http://www.neilgaiman.com/p/Cool_Stuff/Essays/Essays_By_Neil/Where_do_you_get_your_ideas%3F) says it best. Furthermore, it isn’t really where I get the ideas that is noteworthy, it is what I do with them once they come ‘round. Anyone can get that spark to go off in their head. The “what if…” and so on. The magic you’re looking for happens after.
2. Do you have a dream cast for your book?
Absolutely!
Jesse Sullivan—Ksenia Solo or Emma Stone
Gabriel—Ian Somerhalder
Ally Gallagher—Emilia Clarke
James T. Brinkley—Jensen Ackles
Timothy Caldwell—Tom Cruise
Captain Gloria Jackson—Viola Davis
Jeremiah Tate—Brad Pitt or Hugh Jackman
Nicole Tamsin—Scarlett Johansson or Jennifer Lawrence
Lane Handel—Liam Hemsworth or Chris Evans
Rachel Wright—Maite Perroni
3. How do you handle writer’s block?
“Write. Rewrite. When not writing or rewriting, read. I know of no shortcuts.” –Larry L. King
4. What inspired you to write this book?
Dying Light is the fourth in the series. It had three books to behind it and 4-6 books ahead of it. It seemed silly to stop now, just when things are starting to get good.
5. What’s the hardest part of being an author?
“The scariest moment is always just before you start.” –Stephen King
