I liked the idea of the two female protagonists. I liked the way the author decided to 'out' the supernatural world mid way through the book. Unfortunately this book had a fair few editing/writing issues.
The first POV character, Danni, comes across as a completely crazy bitch and not in a 'Yay.. go girl..' way. I actively hated her and fully understood her boyfriend's sister trying to break them up. If I was supposed to sympathise or empathise with her, then the author failed entirely.
Keri, the other POV character, gets the standard HAWT VAMP Romance treatment, complete with tragic backstory. She's a better character and does calm down the first one.
Both characters are good, but feel like exaggerations and a lot of their dialogue and internal thoughts are quite juvenile.
It isn't a terrible book, but it needs an editor. It needs a good formatting, as it was poorly laid out on my kindle. If the author gets a decent editor, this book would be very good. It has some great ideas and characters with potential, but as it stands now... it's not quite good enough.
