Lola is a fool for a love story, a sucker for a cupcake, and let’s not talk about what she’d do for a Klondike bar. She enjoys long walks on the beach and movies that involve chainsaws. By day she’s the HR Lady and by nightfall she puts on a cape to become a romance writer.

This is going to sound cheesy but, my readers inspire me. I went through a very dark time and it was the emails, Facebook messages, and direct messages that helped me pull through. I had thought about giving up but I realized my work made people happy and it made me happy and that’s what’s important.
2. Who is your favourite author?
Anne Rice and Charlaine Harris both inspired the vampires in my stories, but both also made me fall in love with reading.
3. How many hours a day do you write?
This is going to sound bad but one (1) hour a day most days but when I’m in a good rhythm I can write for HOURS. The most I’ve written was six (6) hours straight. I slept most of the time after that.
4. Do you write to a soundtrack?
I do. Every book has a different soundtrack too; I download the songs, because it’s the music that keeps me going. It’s like a movie soundtrack in some ways because I have fast, upbeat songs mixed in with love ballads that can take me to dark places to being in love.
5. Action or romance?
Romance, always romance. I am a romantic at heart and I get to live out some of my romantic fantasies in the pages of my books.
