A tale of love, loss, and second chances. This inspiring love story shares how several men influenced one woman’s life and showered her with love in different ways. Experience love, friendship, faith, suspense, tragedy, humor, and a supernatural element…always and forever.
Always the bridesmaid, but never the bride, Rachel Thompson is ready to give up on love, before rodeo cowboy Brooks Reynolds rides into the arena and lassos her heart. His smoldering looks and strong yet tender nature sweep her off her feet.
Life is pinch-worthy and picture-book perfect, except on the eve of her wedding Rachel’s love story is ripped from the pages. After two months of grieving, she discovers her nightmare is never-ending. In order to escape her heartbreaking past, the middle-school counselor relocates to a new city for a fresh start and a second chance at happiness and perhaps even love. Through her faith and the support of her family and friends she discovers sought after answers during an unexpected journey.

Interview:
Many of my ideas come from my life. The Flyboy Trilogy is a love story between a pilot and flight attendant. I’ve never dated a pilot, but I have been a flight attendant for 26 years, so I’ve seen and heard many interesting things! The Strength of Love was inspired by a news story. I then wrapped the news event around experiences from my life, plus I added a cup full of imagination.
2. Do you have a dream cast for your book?
Yes, I do and thanks for asking this question. I see either Victor Webster, Christopher Russell, or Zac Efron as Brooks. If Taylor Swift ever ventured into film I would love to see her as Rachel, otherwise Claire Holt from the Vampire Diaries, but as a brunette. I absolutely want Meredith Hagner as Courtney. Scott Eastwood would be a great Sam.
3. How do you handle writer’s block?
I’ve never suffered from writer’s block, in fact I have a list of ideas waiting for me. I simply wish I had more time to write.
4. What inspired you to write this book?
I was watching the news and a story caught my attention. I wondered what I would do if in the same situation (I can’t tell you the story or it would ruin the book). The storyline flowed immediately. I then realized I wanted this to be a book about, faith, family, and second chances. Brooks and Rachel’s story evolved into an always and forever love story. I absolutely love this book. It was hard for me to end it, because I truly love the characters and their stories.
5. What’s the hardest part of being an author?
Knowing you’ve written a really good story, but the book hasn’t had its breakthrough moment. Word is travelling about The Strength of Love and the reviews are really good. I simply don’t know how to get someone to try a new author. This week the book is priced at .99 cents so hopefully readers will take a chance for ninety-nine pennies.
